About Us
Omega Real Estate Management Group is a collective of seasoned real estate investors, each possessing a keen knack for recognizing early-stage submarkets with boundless potential. Its managing partners have each played seminal roles in developing Miami’s most sought-after neighborhoods, including Wynwood, Design District, and Little River.
Omega’s formation represents over 80 years of its managing partners’ collective experience in the field. Its in-house construction advisory, property management, engineering, and leasing expertise has produced industry-leading, highly efficient projects that create value for investors and community stakeholders. The group currently possesses a portfolio of roughly 1,100 units and approximately 700 more in the development pipeline.
The Omega team has turned its focus to Downtown North Miami, an area that represents Miami’s most significant future opportunity for growth and investment. Over the last several years, its acquisitions in the Downtown North Miami core represent the largest in the area, and Omega has positioned itself as the driving force behind the area’s redevelopment today.

Sebastien Scemla
CEO- Managing Partner
With a vision of taking a lead role in the redevelopment of under-recognized areas in Miami, Sebastien Scemla founded Omega Real Estate Management Group in 2018. During the 20 years prior to founding Omega, Sebastien had brokered and sponsored over $100M in commercial real estate in the Design District, Wynwood, Little Haiti, Miami Shores and North Miami. He had personally assembled an entire street of the Design District prior to its meteoric valuation, later selling it to Dacra Development Corp. and LVMH.
Having honed his instinct to recognize high-potential areas, Sebastien turned his attention exclusively to the area of Downtown North Miami in 2016, brokering deals that assembled nearly 7 acres of land, upon which he envisioned the development of The Gardens District. Under Sebastien’s leadership, Omega successfully negotiated $15M worth of public incentives that is catalyzing The Gardens Residences and North Miami. His vision of live work play is being completed with the development of The Gardens Corporate Center, The Hall and The Creative center. The three buildings located on 125th will include class A office space, new F&B & retail as well as more affordable Creative flex offices .
A Miami native, Sebastien is a proud father to his three beautiful children, a devoted husband, and is heavily involved in community improvement organizations. He holds a seat as a trustee of the Museum of Contemporary Art and serves as the Vice Chair of the Downtown Action Plan Advisory Board for the city of North Miami.
